Why We Built This Site
Kansas gives the public broad access to many court records, but the hard part is figuring out which office holds the file. In Jewell County, the Clerk of the District Court handles District Court case files for civil, criminal, domestic, probate, traffic, small claims, and related matters. The County Clerk and Election Office handles county administrative functions, and the Register of Deeds handles recorded land instruments. The sheriff handles law-enforcement and jail-related records. KDHE, KDOR, and KBI handle vital, driver, and statewide criminal-history records.

Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
